For seven years I was the Art director of Latino Perspectives magazine, where I created or directed the creation of nearly every magazine, cover-to-cover. Speaking of covers, here are a few samples of my work.
An issue celebrating Latina Trailblazers. On the road to change, several women have made waves and broken the mold in their community.

For an issue about the new ways to save money in a hard economy, we went retro for the cover. Sometimes, what's old is new!

The Latino community was under immense pressure from political and community actions. This cover art was for a lead story looking into how different cultures look at the world.

For this issue's main story about the history of Latino art, going back 500 years, I invoked the gilded artwork of centuries' past, by literally hammering out the logo in metal to create this cover.
